Coastal watercolour with Charles Evans

Coastal watercolour with Charles Evans

Learn how to paint a coastal landscape watercolour with British artist and art teacher Charles Evans.

To do so you will only need 5 colours of Aquafine watercolours – Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Hookers Green and Raw Umber. Charles always uses the same brushes by Aquafine – 1.5 inch flat (for the sky), 3/4 inch flat, 8 round and 4 rigger.

2 of the key tips you will get from this video are that you can’t put too much water and how to create clouds, all you need is your brush (you will still keep the underlying colour making it more realistic).
