Jasvir Kambo

Her art is a testament to her belief in innovation and the endless possibilities within the realm of painting. In addition to portraits, Jasvir occasionally explores the natural world, bringing florals to life with the same intensity and raw energy that define her human subjects. Her approach to art is characterised by a willingness to experiment with mixed media, blending traditional techniques with unconventional materials to push the boundaries of her creativity. Jasvir’s work is distinguished by its unrefined, rough edges, which she intentionally leaves to preserve the raw, unpolished beauty of her artistic vision. She embraces the imperfections in her work, seeing them as integral to the authenticity and emotional depth of her paintings. This commitment to maintaining the raw quality of her art allows her to convey a powerful sense of immediacy and honesty, making each piece a unique reflection of her perspective. Her fearless use of colour and bold compositions result in works that are both striking and thought-provoking. Through her art, Jasvir invites viewers to see the world through her eyes, challenging conventional notions of beauty and perfection. As she continues to evolve and experiment, Jasvir remains dedicated to creating new and exciting ways of painting, making her mark as an innovative and dynamic artist.

My inspiration has always been life experiences and the ability to express my emotions with colour rather than words.
